1000 Hills Rugby is proud to announce the appointment of Shalom Kuneshanukwayo as our Safeguarding Officer. His journey with the club began at the age of 11, when he first took up tag rugby, and over the past decade, he has become a key figure in our rugby family.

Shalom’s dedication and passion for the game saw him rise through the ranks from the development team to the senior squad. His leadership qualities led him to take on a coaching role for our development team, where he has been instrumental in mentoring young talents and shaping the future of the club.
A defining moment in his career came when he was selected for the Rwanda Rugby National Team, representing the country in a match against Kibubu Rugby Club from Belgium on September 17th, 2022, at Cercle Sportif de Kigali. It was an unforgettable experience for him and a testament to his hard work and perseverance.
