1000 Hills Rugby Club has officially been crowned champions of the Rwanda National League 15s Men's Championship 2025, ending a 10-year wait for the national title.

On Saturday, 14th February 2025, 1000 Hills Rugby defeated Lions De Fer Rugby Club with a final score of 20-15 in a thrilling and competitive final match.

Historic Victory in Rwanda Rugby

The Rwanda National League 15s final brought together two of the strongest rugby teams in Rwanda. Both sides displayed exceptional skill, physical strength, and tactical discipline. However, 1000 Hills Rugby maintained composure under pressure and secured the decisive points needed to win the championship.

This victory marks a historic milestone for 1000 Hills Rugby Club, as it is their first Rwanda National League 15s title in ten years. The achievement highlights the club’s growth, dedication, and commitment to excellence in Rwandan rugby.

As 1000 Hills Rugby celebrated winning the Rwanda National League 15s Men’s Championship 2025, the club also proudly recognized Jimmy Nestole as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season. Jimmy played a key role throughout the campaign, showing consistency, discipline, and strong leadership on the field. His performances were instrumental in helping 1000 Hills Rugby secure the 20–15 victory in the final and bring the national league title back to the club after ten years.
