1000 Hills Rugby Team Joins Kigali's Car Free Day to Promote Fitness and Community Engagement
The 1000 Hills Rugby team actively participated in this month's Car Free Day event in Kigali, emphasizing the importance of fitness, community engagement, and promoting sports culture in Rwanda. The event, held on Sunday, brought together 40 team members both men and women who took part in physical exercises and public awareness activities.

A Day of Fitness and Awareness

Starting early at 6:00 AM in Gatenga, Kicukiro District, the team joined hundreds of other participants in the popular Car Free Day initiative, which encourages physical well being and environmental conservation by temporarily limiting car usage. After an engaging warm-up session, team members had the opportunity to interact with the community, share ideas, and raise awareness about the benefits of sports participation.
