Heroes Rugby Cup 2025: A Celebration of Sport and Legacy

Youth and Grassroots Rugby in Action

Last Saturday, February 1, 2025, the second edition of the Heroes Rugby Cup concluded in Kicukiro District. Organized by 1000 Hills Rugby, this tournament responded to the lack of competitive opportunities for rugby players in Rwanda. It aimed to keep players engaged, showcase their talents, and honor the Heroes of our Nation each year. Senior Rugby Clash: Kalisimbi RFC vs. Muhabura RFC The highlight of the day was the highly anticipated match between Kalisimbi RFC and Muhabura RFC. Kalisimbi delivered a dominant performance, securing a 31-5 victory with exceptional plays, strong defense, and impressive teamwork. Despite Muhabura's resilience, Kalisimbi controlled the game with fast-paced attacks and solid execution.
